Alex “Pwndidi” Theologis
The Player
I am Alex, a professional high stakes Poker Tournament player from Greece.
I started playing professionally in 2014 on Pokerstars under the alias Pwndidi and steadily grinded my way up from microstakes. My introduction to high stakes began in mid 2018, and since then I’ve been competing consistently across both the online and live scenes.
Over the years, I’ve cashed for well over $30,000,000 combined, with success in major tournaments worldwide and online.
Online, some notable achievements would be winning the $25,000 WSOP Online for over $1,200,000 and a bracelet, taking down the $10,300 GG Million$ for $300,000 as well as collecting various WCOOP/SCOOP trophies.
When it comes to live poker, my most noteworthy achievement would be winning the €100,000 EPT High Roller for over $900,000, along with several Triton final tables.
During quieter periods, between major online or live festivals, I dedicate time to coaching players of all levels.

The Coach
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with and learned from many different poker coaches. Over time, by absorbing the traits I admired and noting what I felt was missing, I’ve shaped my own coaching style, focusing on theory while looking for exploits.
I genuinely enjoy sharing my knowledge of the game and I view coaching as a way to help players fast-track their development - a form of shortcut. There’s an endless amount of material and tools available today, but without structure it’s easy to get overwhelmed. My goal is to provide clear, practical, direct guidance, formed by my own journey and experience.
While I cover a wide range of topics, my primary areas of expertise are PKOs, ICM, and 3-way pots.
I ’ve offered both 1-on-1 and group coaching for many years, conducting hundreds of sessions with players ranging from recreational enthusiasts to high-stakes professionals.
I’ve also collaborated with various poker communidites such as BitB, Pocarr, BBZ, and CNC, delivering seminars and private sessions. In addition, I’ve been producing educational content for Run It Once since 2020 and have published 2 courses.
